# Introduction

Accountable is the new standard for real-time financial verification that allows institutions to prove assets and liabilities privately. Built for both traditional and crypto native markets, the platform enables counterparties to demonstrate financial health without exposing sensitive details like API keys, wallet addresses or trading strategies.

### The Problem: What powers tokenized assets remains unverified

Almost every tokenized product represents an offchain reality that remains largely opaque. Institutions still rely on self reported claims, delayed audits, and static PDFs to verify what's happening behind the onchain wrapper.

A verifiable trust layer that reduces counterparty risk

DVN is a neutral infrastructure layer that enables institutions to share real-time financial reporting of assets and liabilities across wallets, exchanges, custodians and banks without revealing sensitive information like API keys, wallet addresses or trading strategies. Reports can be shared privately (peer-to-peer), semipublicly, or fully onchain through oracle feeds, with cryptographic proofs embedded by default.
